I Glenn am a new patient and have met once with Dr. Enlander. If he can help me it will be a miracle. I have been sick for 22 years this past October. Being a disabled doctor myself there are usually only 4 things on a patients mind. 1)what is wrong with me? 2) Can you help me? 3) How long will it take? 4) How much will it cost? Unfortunately I don't think any Doctor treating this dreadful condition can answer question 3. My first impression of Dr. Enlander is that he is compassionate, caring and will do his damn best to try and help you. I am financially ruined and was so happy he accepted regular Medicare. i saw the petty posts below about complaining of the cost of various vitamins and therapies. Believe me, if you are as sick as I am you will beg borrow or steal to try any regimen. I feel the prices are very fair for all adjunct therapies I have seen. I have been to Dr's that charged $400 dollars for an iv drip of magnesium and vitamin C which just made me throw up and not get any better. I am going to follow Dr. Enlander's advice and treatment to the letter! I will post later if any progress is made. I am not sure if I have post lyme disease, post viral syndrome as stated by the Mayo Clinic or me/cfs. Thanks for reading and look for future posts.
Karen Mascuch RavitzI have been a patient of Dr. Es for over a decade. I don't know where I'd be without his care and the support of his loving nurses Laura and Mish! I also have lyme that Dr E found after years of negative tests. I am using gcmaf injections along with my LLMDs abx with positive results. Abx alone were not effective for me. Its a very long road but at least it's no longer all uphill! Thank you Dr E :)
I have received two shipments of GcMAF yogurt starter culture from you. The first was in cow milk, but since you offered to make it in goat milk for me because of my lactose intolerance, I am now "cooking" that second batch. Unlike the first batch, it is bubbling up and emitting a pretty strong odor now on the second day of "cooking." I don't know if this is what the first batch should have done and hoping for some guidance from you about this. Thank you.
Amanda MoranteYou asked for feedback so here is some feedback: Your new website is hard to navigate and is a step down from what you previously had. Also your treatment plan did nothing for me and I was falsly diagnosed by Dr. Enlander. All I got was a bunch of expensive vitamins and treatment protocols that haven't even been proven to work. I wound up actually having Chronic Lyme Disease after begging him to test me for it. You can delete my comment if you'd like, but there are tons of people out there who are being hurt by your treatment protocol. Send people with Lyme Disease to Lyme Literate Specialists instead of trying to get more money out of them. Shame.
Seymour SiegelBravo on the new web site. It's informative and easy to use.It echos my sentiments about Dr.Enlander, a caring physician with insightful diagnostic skills.
Cheryl FalconeHi I am considering making an appointment for the first time with Dr. Enlander but I am not sure I can afford the treatments especially the supplements. I am on a limited disability income. Are any of the protocols paid for by insurance ie medicaire. Not sure I can afford to get well?
Jeannette Ketterle BurmeisterI don't have any personal experience with Dr. Enlander. He seems to be a very compassionate individual to me (something that cannot be said for many physicians). Amanda, I am really sorry that you had a bad experience with him and I can't comment on that either way. But one thing that does stand out for me is that Amanda's comment is still up here on the blog. Most other physicians would have either pre-moderated the comment and never published it or deleted it.
Neil Langdon InglisThank you, Dr. Enlander, for your persistence and tenacity in getting to the bottom of this terrible disease, this vexing and baffling mystery which has turned our lives upside down.
Paul DeBraccioGrear new look.Thank youfor caring about us.
Denise BreslinAs a graphic designer I have to be honest. I find this "new" site cold, confusing and garish (color wise).
I much prefer your old warmer, friendlier, clearer site. The photo of you, Michele, Laura, etc. on the home page was very inviting. There was a phone number CLEARLY available on that page to call with questions, which I did. Mish called me very soon after.
You need better colors as the yellow and puce green are a bit stomach churning. You would do better with a photo of the staff on this home page -- as it is, very cold and (as I said) confusing. I'm sorry, I would have loved to say I like this new design, but I don't think it works well. Cheers.
Stephanie Valle RissoDr. Enlander, you are to blame! Nicolas, now 19 years old, is still in the party animal phase these days, almost two years now. He has yet to find his social balance but he has accepted to be thoroughly tested in August as you mentioned.... I will forever be thankful to you and your staff for your support, advise, insight and research provided all these years. Congratulations on your grant! It was 2006 when Nico had persistent fever, could not walk, moved in a wheelchair and had alzeihmer brain fog and you pointed towards the ME symptoms, not the superfluous CFS.
Nancy M. HensonWell, it took my comment without logging in.
I'd like to know from Dr. Enlander since he has such vast experience if childhood insomnia might be a precursor to having ME/CFS? I always had difficulting sleeping as well as experienciing a lot of allergies. But I was 44 before I got sick with ME/CFS/FM. I was well one day and horribly sick the next - with vertigo. I think it was triggered by toxins. We had a faulty furnace and I was poisoned by exhaust from our gas furnace. Once the furnace was replaced, my symtoms were noticeably less.
Nancy M. HensonI would like to know how to register for this blog. Or is this really in Facebook?
Christa Marie RichardsonI am looking to understand the difference between GcMaf and the MAF 878 yoghurt... What is the difference in effectiveness? If people take both, how do you know which is the better option? Thanks, this is pretty hopeful stuff!
